Deputies regularly respond to stabbing suspect’s home
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -Saturday night was not the first time New Hanover County deputies have responded to a call at 433 Blossom Ferry Road.
But this time, a woman was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen and back with a steak knife.
Deputies arrested Ted Jackson Bullock, 51, and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
New Hanover County Sheriff’s Lt. Jerry Brewer says Bullock and his girlfriend were extremely intoxicated and fighting when the stabbing happened around 12:35 a.m.
Brewer says the last he heard, the woman was not in critical condition.
This was the 8th time deputies have responded to this home since August. The calls were related to domestic violence, communicating threats and larceny.
Bullock was placed under a $20,000 bond.
