UNCW Lemonade Brigade helps students navigate campus

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW knows — at first — students may have a tough time finding their classes this semester. They also know it is hot outside! With that in mind… the UNCW student ambassadors set up lemonade stands around campus. They handed out lemonade to thirsty students and helped point them in the right direction to their classes. The ambassadors say they’ve seen quite the turnout. “We’ve had several hundred!”, said student ambassador Whitney Beck, “I think we started off with about 125 lemonades and now we’re almost finished.” The student ambassadors say this is a big help to the students and it’s a way to keep everyone a little more cool.
