Man pleads guilty to 2014 Whiteville murder

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – A man will spend at least 21 years behind bars for murder.

Columbus County District Attorney Jon David says Ramik Dashan Graham pled guilty to Second Degree Murder in the death of James “Mikey” Frink, 30, on September 19, 2014. Graham was sentenced to 254 – 317 months in prison.

The murder happened September 19, 2014, in the Sandy Ridge Apartment Complex of Whiteville.

Graham shot Frink inside of an apartment.  At that time, Frink began to crawl outside to safety when Graham stood over him and shot him multiple times.

The State Bureau of Investigation and Whiteville Police Department investigated.

Graham was sentenced to between 21 and 26 years in prison.
