Two men shot in Wilmington, police investigating

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) –  Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that sent two men to the hospital.

It happened around 3:52 this afternoon at Nixon Street and Love Alley.

Wilmington police say Shotspotter alerted them to the shooting.

EMS took a man to the hospital. Another man was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

One man was shot in the chest, the other was shot in the shoulder. The injuries are non-life-threatening.

There is no word yet on any potential suspect.
