Wilmington police link woman to multiple delivery driver robberies
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – The woman who was arrested in mid-November for robbing a delivery driver and passing counterfeit cash is now charged with other armed robberies.
Wilmington Police have now charged Tashiana Jackson, 23, with 4 counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, 2 counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon conspiracy and obtaining property by false pretense.
Police say Jackson passed fake money to a Chopstix delivery driver in the late evening hours of November 1, after she placed an order for food to be delivered to Campus Evolution Villages apartments. Jackson received the change from the fake money and food from the driver during that incident.
Then on November 15, Jackson allegedly robbed the same delivery driver at gun point after ordering food to be delivered to the 4900-block of Clemson Dr.
Jackson was arrested just a couple of days later for those crimes.
She was still in jail when she was charged with the other delivery driver robberies.
Her bond is now set at $280,000.
