Wilmington holds first budget education meeting tonight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington residents have a chance tonight to learn about the city’s budget in the first of three education meetings. City staff will make presentations about the budget and discuss questions and concerns.

Tonight’s meeting is from 6 to 7:30 at the Fellowship Hall of Winter Park Baptist Church at 4700 Wrightsville Avenue.

The second meeting will be on Monday at the New Hanover County Arboretum auditorium at 6206 Oleander Drive, and the third will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26 in City Hall. All three meetings will take place from 6-7:30 p.m.
