FEMA opens offices in Pender & Brunswick Counties

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – FEMA has opened Disaster Recovery Centers in both Pender and Brunswick Counties in response to storm damage a couple of weeks ago when the area was drenched with more than 20 inches of rain.

FEMA representatives suggest property owners first apply for help online at www.FEMA.gov or by calling (800) 621-FEMA. Then they can follow-up at their local office.

In Pender County, the center is in Maple Hill at the Maple Hill Resource Center at 545 Maple Hill School Road.

In Brunswick, it’s located in Bolivia at 20 Referendum Drive in the Government Complex, Building G.
