Another charged with breaking into Pender store during Hurricane Matthew


PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Another man is accused of breaking into a Pender County store during Hurricane Matthew.

Deputies say James William Emory, 45, also broke into the Black River Mini Mart on October 10 during the flooding.

Three other men also face charges. Brothers Joshua and Reginald Gagnier were arrested last week.

Emory is charged with felony breaking and entering, trespassing during an emergency, felony possession of stolen goods and larceny after breaking and entering.

He is in jail under a $50,000 bond.
