Fans feast on Seahawk hoop hype during lunch

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Seahawk basketball fans feasted on some hoops talk over lunch today. The Tip-Off Luncheon was a chance to hear from both head coaches as basketball season nears.

Men’s coach Buzz Peterson and women’s coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke talked about their teams as fans dined.

“Everyone is excited and energetic about the beginning of the season,” Cooper-Dyke said. “I’m excited, and I’m energetic about the start of the season. I think it will be great”

Men’s coach Buzz Peterson said, “Good day at Buffalo Wild Wings for the tip-off banquet, introduce the team and the staff, so it is a good way to relax and mingle a little bit with the fans.”
