Leland police search for woman accused of stealing meat

LELAND, NC (WWAY) – Leland police are searching for the woman accused of stealing meat from the Piggly Wiggly.

Police say it happened January 2.

Police say the woman stole about $40 worth of meat.

Police say she was a passenger in this Jeep Liberty.
