Two students arrested for bomb threats

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (NEWS RELEASE) – After several bombs threats at Ashley High School and Murray Middle School there have been two arrests made.

One student was arrested at Murray Middle on 11/15/2010 for a bomb threat made that day. The other student was arrested at Ashley High for a bomb threat made today.

Both students are juveniles and both were arrested and placed in secured custody charged with making a false bomb report, a class H felony.

The other threats from area High Schools are being investigated and leads are being followed.
