Seahawks set for second home date

The UNCW men’s basketball team is in action at Trask Coliseum tonight. UNCW welcomes Morehead State in Buzz Peterson’s second home game as coach.

The Seahawks came out blazing hot in Tuesday’s home opener, but needed Chad Tomko’s three pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime.

UNCW pulled out a dramatic 69-64 win in front of a frenzied Trask Coliseum crowd.

Morehead State has tallied back to back twenty win seasons.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Hawks. UNCW hits the road and plays at nationally ranked Ohio State Saturday.
