SUV crashes into home in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Officials are investigating a car crash that ended with damage to a Wilmington home on Friday night.

Wilmington Police spokeswoman Linda Rawley says it happened around 7:00 p.m. when a man crashed his SUV into the side of a home at 222 Evans Street. The suspect ran away from the scene. He is described as a black male.

No injuries have been reported.
