USAir will fly smaller planes from ILM to Charlotte

In January, Wilmington International Airport will lose seats on its three largest daily flights – reports the Greater Wilmington Business Journal. Three USAir flights to Charlotte will drop from 136-seat capacity 737s in favor of 86-seat RJ90s.
“We think and we hope that this is seasonal and temporary,” said Jon Rosborough, executive director at the airport.
