Happening tonight: Missed Pleasure Island Pageant

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — It’s a pageant like no other, tonight contestants take the stage in the Missed Pleasure Island Pageant.

This event features men dressed in drag showing off their skills and getting in touch with their feminine sides. They do all your standard pageant activities and wardrobes, from swimwear to evening attire and even talent! Only one will take the crown.

This isn’t just all about fun, proceeds support the local charities of Island Women and Island Men.

It’s at the Courtyard Marriott Carolina Beach. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the main event starts at 7. Tickets are $20/person. The even includes a cash bar, gift basket raffle, and more.
