NC students can find teaching materials on iTunes

RALEIGH, NC (AP) — A wealth of curriculum and professional development material for teachers and students in North Carolina can now be found in a familiar place: iTunes.

The state education department has worked with other agencies around the state to create a section of the iTunes store offering free downloads of educational materials.

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and Partners section of the popular online store includes audio and video files designed to help teachers, students and parents. It includes everything from curriculum materials to lessons posted by the state Museum of History about North Carolina’s past.

The files can be downloaded by Mac or PC users.
