Cape Fear Memorial Bridge lane closures

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will have intermittent right lane closures to vehicular traffic in both directions at the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge on US 17 Business/US 76 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011 to Friday, February 25, 2011 each night to perform bridge maintenance. The lane closures will end at 5:00 a.m. on Friday.

The NCDOT reminds motorists to STAY ALERT, encourages motorists to use alternate routes when possible during this period, drive with caution, obey the posted speed limits, and allow extra travel time.
