FIRST ON 3: Woman at Carolina Beach fakes stabbing

THE FOLLOWING IS A NEWS RELEASE FROM THE CAROLINA BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT:

On 26 February 2011 at 1839 hrs police responded to the Intersection of Carolina Beach Ave. N. and Scallop Ln. in reference to a female down who was reporting she had been stabbed by an unknown white male and a white female.

After the processing of the crime scene and interviews with the victim and the victims family it was determined that the injuries were self inflicted.
