Bond denied for murder suspect

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The man accused of killing a man found dead in a parking lot made his first appearance in court today.

Charles Saliba is charged with first degree murder. Investigators say he killed Michael Smith, whose body was found last week in a Monkey Junction parking lot.

The judge today denied bond for Saliba. His next court date is scheduled for April 14.
