New Hanover man shot and killed

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning.

Deputies were called out to 2333 Truesdale Road around 2 a.m. for gunshots fired in the area. When they arrived they found Harold Davis II near a vehicle in the driveway. They say he had been shot twice.

No other details have been released. The shooting remains under investigation.
