Tabor City bank robbed

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — Town, county and state investigators are looking for a bank robber in Columbus County.

Tabor City Police Chief Donald Dowless says the BB&T on Hickman Road in Tabor City was robbed around 2:45 p.m. Thursday. So far investigators have not released a description of the robber.

Dowless says his officers are getting help from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Department and the State Bureau of Investigation on the case.
