Where’s the beef? Detectives search for meat thief

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County detectives need your help finding a meat thief.

Investigators say a man broke into the Grapevine Restaurant and Lounge on Beach Drive in Calabash May 8. They say he took about $180 dollars in beef tenderloin and a bag of coins.

Based on surveillance video, the suspect appears to be a white male wearing a dark-colored jacket, a light-colored hood over his head, light-colored pants and eye glasses.
