Hoggard advances in state soccer playoffs

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — It’s hard to beat a team three times in the same season. That was the task Hoggard had on Wednesday. After a scoreless first half Hoggard scored three goals to shutout New Hanover 3-0. The Vikings will host Mideastern Conference foe New Bern on Friday in round four of the state playoffs. Hoggard shutout New Bern in both previous meetings this season.
