Hamerheads knock off Antigua again
ANTIGUA (WWAY) — The Wilmington Hammerheads held a 1-0 lead at halftime on Sunday evening in Antigua. Both teams scored twice in the second half as Wilmington emerges with a 3-2 win. Two days earlier Wilmington shutout Antigua Barracuda FC 1-0 at Sticky Wicket Stadium in Antigua. Each win is worth 3 points in the USL Pro standings. Wilmington is now 8-4-3 overall with 27 points in the American Division of the USL Pro League.
The next game for the Hammerheads will be a road contest on Thursday against the Charleston Battery. The Hammerheads next home game will be Saturday, July 16th against Harrisburg.
