Stilman White won’t play in East-West game

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Hoggard High School grad Stilman White North Carolina has pulled out of Monday’s East-West All-Star basketball game in Greensboro due to an undisclosed hand injury.

White signed with UNC Chapel Hill back in April. UNC head coach Roy Williams signed White in order to provide depth for the Tar Heels at the guard position.

White’s replacement for the game on Monday has not been announced yet. New Hanover guard Freddie Jackson also is slated to play in the game. Jackson missed a scheduled practice on Saturday though, but the UNCW signee is expected to play on Monday. Pender’s Addison Spruill is also on the East roster. The women’s basketball game starts at 6:30 on Monday at the Greensboro Coliseum with the men’s game to follow after the conclusion of the women’s game.

$5 for children ages 2 ->high school
