Casey Barth named UNC football captain

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WWAY) — UNC head coach Everett Withers announced Cam Holland, Casey Barth and Kevin Reddick as 2011 season team captains at a news conference in Chapel Hill Monday.

Barth is a Hoggard High School graduate. The Wilmington resident is entering his fourth year with the Tar Heels.

Barth’s older brother Connor also kicked at Hoggard and the University of North Carolina. Connor Barth is currently the kicker for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
