Former pro wrestler arrested again for driving while impaired

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Former professional wrestler Matt
Hardy is facing a driving while impaired charge for the second time
in less than a month.

The Fayetteville Observer reported Thursday that police at Raleigh-Durham
International Airport arrested Hardy on Monday. A police report said a driver
reported a 2011 red Chevrolet Camaro was swerving across traffic
and had nearly hit two different cars three times.

Police said a breathalyzer test was negative, but Hardy failed a
field sobriety test.

In August, Hardy’s car ran off a Moore County road and hit a
tree. He has a Sept. 28 court appearance in that case, and a Nov.
30 court appearance in Raleigh in the latest incident.

Hardy and his brother Jeff made up a popular pro wrestling team
known as the Hardy Boyz.
