VIDEO BLOG: Where does the smoke go? Fire weather forecast

BUCKLEY’S BLOG: Where there’s smoke there’s fire — well not always. That won’t necessarily be the case heading through the next several days. Even though the Wilmington Wildfire has been contained and largely extinguished, smoldering will create smoke until we get some real substantial rain across the area.

That poses a few questions:

• Where will the lingering smoke go, and who will it affect?
• When can we finally expect some rain?
• Will it be enough to limit our fire danger across the area?
