Wilmington Police make arrest in teen’s murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have made an arrest in the Thursday night shooting death of Raymond Kain, 17, of Wilmington.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the 100-block of Sebrell Ave. Kain was a student at Hoggard High School.

Detectives have charged Tyler Matthew Yee, 17, of Wilmington with First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting.

Wilmington Police say US Marshals arrested Yee today in the 5700 block of Park Ave. without incident. Yee is also charged with possession of a handgun by a minor.
