Teen shot in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting.

The call came in just before 7:00 a.m.

Brunswick County dispatch received the call about a 15-year-old shot in the 2500 block of Burnice Lane NE in Bolivia.

The teen was shot in the leg. She was taken to the hospital.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office believes this is an isolated incident.
