Sunset Beach man, woman arrested on drug charges

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man and woman who live on Dogwood Drive in Sunset Beach face multiple drug charges.

According to arrest warrants,investigators found heroin, dihydrohydroxycodeinone, hydromorphone, and more than four grams of opium in the home. Warrants claim they also found pill bottles, and wax paper bindles to package, store and contain a controlled substance.

Deputies arrested Robert Austin Kelly, 45, and charged him with possession of heroin, maintaining vehicle/dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent to sell, two counts of trafficking opium or heroin and conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin.

Investigators say Niki Lee Stiltner conspired with Kelly. She’s charged with conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, place, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture sell, deliver, and conspiracy to sell, deliver.

Kelly is in jail under a $1,000,000 bond.

Stiltner is in jail under a $100,000 bond.
