Brunswick County EMS Headquarters named after H. Mark Gore

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County EMS Headquarters has been named the H. Mark Gore EMS Headquarters Building, after longtime Brunswick County EMS employee Hugh Mark Gore.

The dedication ceremony was held on Friday.

Gore was one of Brunswick County EMS’s first paid paramedics, and had been with the department for more than 25 years.

After his unexpected death last year, the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to rename the Brunswick County building the H. Mark Gore EMS Headquarters Building in his memory.
