Columbus County Farmers Market opens for the season

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Farmers Market is open for another season. The market opened Saturday morning.

An opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Highlights include entertainment by Edgewood Elementary School chorus, remarks by local elected officials, and a flag raising ceremony by a local Boy Scouts troop. 

The market will be from 7 a.m. until noon. 

The 8th annual Farmers Market Fun Run & Walk will held Saturday May 20. Events will be happening from now through December.
