Whiteville City Schools releasing early Friday

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Students who attend Whiteville City Schools will get out early on their last day of school.

The schools are releasing at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.

The early release was not originally on the calendar, but the school district says the calendar changed after Hurricane Matthew and with students not missing any other days, they realized they were able to release students early.
