Sheriff’s auction of 3,000 designer gowns set for next weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thousands of high end dresses are back up for grabs.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office originally planned to hold the auction in April to help satisfy a $100,000 judgement against the owner of Isabella Grape.At the last minute, the auction was cancelled because the owner filed for bankruptcy.

But now, the auction featuring more than 3,000 designer dresses, shoes, and accessories is back on. Featured brands will be Tony Bowls, Mac Duggal, Jovani, Terani, Sherri Hill, Heather French Henry, and Claire’s Collection.

The auction is set for June 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Independence Mall in Wilmington.

You may view all the items from 10:00 am to 11:00 am the day of the auction. Don’t be late, it starts promptly at 11:00 a.m.

Cash and credit cards are accepted.
