Crews battle Castle Hayne house fire

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Castle Hayne home has been heavily damaged following a fire on Thursday night.

According to New Hanover County Fire Rescue, crews were called to a home in the 400 block of Millhouse Road around 10:30pm Thursday night.

Wilmington Fire Department assisted NHCFR in battling the blaze, which crews got under control in about 20 minutes.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire has been ruled undetermined by the New Hanover County Fire Rescue Office of Fire Marshal.
