Leland Parks and Rec to host solar eclipse event

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — We are less than two weeks away from the much anticipated total solar eclipse and Leland Parks and Recreation will be hosting a viewing party.

The event is happening on Monday, August 21 at 2 p.m. at Leland Municipal Park.

The first 100 people will get free solar glasses. Registration is not required and it’s a completely free event.
