Local school apologizes after solar eclipse glasses for students recalled

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Charter Day School says they had to collect solar eclipse glasses intended for students after they were recalled.

The school posted on Facebook Wednesday saying many parents and students had been asking what exactly happened.

The school apologized for the inconvenience and advises kids to be safe during the event.

This announcement comes after Charter Day School said they will release early Monday.
