Jesse McCartney to perform at UNCW

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It was announced this afternoon that Pop singer Jesse McCartney will perform at University of North Carolina Wilmington. The school’s Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE) announced it via its Twitter account.

McCartney is known for songs like “Beautiful Soul” and “Because You Live”.

The show is Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m. at Kenan Auditorium.

Tickets sales for students begin August 28; ticket sales for the general public begin September 4. Tickets are $15 for students, $18 for UNCW staff and $20 for the public; day-of-show tickets are $20 for students and $25 for staff and the public.

According to a post on ACE’s Facebook page, tickets will be available for purchase at the Kenan Box Office or through an online link that will be posted to the organization’s social media pages at noon August 28.

The singer was selected via a student vote. Past performers include Hoodie Allen in 2014, T-Pain in 2015 and New Politics in 2016.
