WFD rescues dog during morning house fire

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Fire Department responded to a house fire Thursday morning.

WFD says the fire happened around 9 a.m. at 108 South 13th Street.

It reportedly started at the back of the home.

No injuries were reported, but crews did rescued a small dog.

The cause is still under investigation.
