100+ shooting-related incidents in Wilmington so far in 2019

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — There have been more than 100 shooting related incidents in the City of Wilmington so far this year.

According to the Wilmington Department, since the start of 2019 there have been 109 shootings, five of those were fatal.

81 of those, which is approximately 75 percent remain open.
