Air conditioning issues resolved at Laney High, school will resume normal Tuesday

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Laney High School dismissed at noon today due to an air conditioning failure, which is causing extreme heat in the classrooms.

According to an email from New Hanover County Schools, the hope is to have the air conditioning restored by tomorrow.

As of the 3 p.m., the school system announced the problems have been resolved and school will resume normal operations Tuesday.
