Local shelter animals enjoy Thanksgiving feast

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — We can’t forget about our four-legged friends during the holidays and the New Hanover County Animals Services didn’t on Thanksgiving.

On Thursday, every animal got a little bit of holiday cheer and happiness in their bowl.

Staff shared pictures on Facebook of the shelter animals enjoying a turkey dinner including sweet potatoes, green beans and mashed potatoes.
