Police search for suspect who allegedly stabbed Wilmington woman

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are searching for Anasha Johnson, the suspect in the stabbing that occurred Monday morning.

Johnson, 25 of Wilmington, is facing charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Assault by Pointing Gun.

The victim, Shanita Reid, 35 of Wilmington, suffered a non-life threatening stab wound around 9 a.m. on Martin Street.
