CAPE FEAR HISTORY & MYSTERIES: USS North Carolina Battleship

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The USS North Carolina Battleship is a historic vessel is a local source of pride for all who visits and is a must see attraction for anyone who comes to the Cape Fear area.

The Battleship North Carolina’s keel was laid by New York shipbuilding company in October of 1937.
