Two-month long heroin investigation results in three arrests
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Three people face charges after a two-month long investigation in New Hanover County.
The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says they made several heroin purchases from Detrick Daye. According to the news release, investigators searched a home on Downey Lane on Thursday and seized 40-50 bags of heroin and 36 grams of fentanyl.
Deputies arrested Detrick Devone Day and Shanena McCall.
They are both facing multiple felony drug trafficking charges and are being held without bond.
Daye’s roomate Antonio Quintez Walker is charged with possession with the intent to sell or deliver marijuana along with several misdemeanor drug charges.
