Woman hit, killed by pickup truck in Brunswick County

SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — NC Highway Patrol say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck in Supply Sunday night.

Sgt. M.W. King said it happened around 9 p.m. on Holden Beach Road near the intersection of Oxpen Road.

Sgt. King says Christina Bill was standing in the road on Holden Beach Road when she was hit by the truck.

Bill died at the scene. No charges will be filed against the driver.
