Man arrested on child sex crimes charges

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County man is in jail facing charges related to an incident involving a juvenile that happened more than a decade ago.

Donnell Gore, 57, is charged with two counts of 1st degree sexual offense and two counts of statutory rape.

The alleged crime happened in November of 2007 and involved a 14-year-old.

Gore is in the New Hanover County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
