Schools closed/delayed Tuesday; make-up days to be decided
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — As ice remains on roads several days after a winter storm, area schools are announcing closures and delays Tuesday.
New Hanover County Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Tuesday, January 9.
Principals, custodians, and maintenance workers should report at their normal times. Due to continued icy conditions in school parking lots and entryways, some schools may alter their pick up and drop off procedures and locations.
