Southport bank robbery suspect arrested in Henderson

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says the Southport bank robbery suspect has been arrested nearly 200 miles away from where the crime happened.

Deputies say Johnathan Brooks Faulkner has been taken into custody in Henderson.

BCSO said the robbery happened at approximately 4:50 p.m. on February 14 at the Bank of America at 5070 Southport-Supply Road SE in Southport.

Faulkner was wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon.
